Abstract: Data center networks (DCNs) are playing an increasingly important role in the Internet. These days, a DCN control host up to millions of servers, which raise interesting questions in regard to scalability and network control. In this talk I will offer an introduction to some of my current work in this area. I will also explain a new research direction, which aims to enable networked control over Software Defined Networks. This new direction will hopefully tie together my work in the two major areas: control and in communication.
